I was at the poolside trying to enjoy a cold beer, but the hot Texas summer was draining the cold right out of the beverage. So I grabbed a 20 oz. stainless steel tumbler and inserted the 16 oz. aluminum can. The aluminum can fit perfectly inside the tumbler and the beer stayed cold. However, it needed a lid to secure the can, keep the heat out, and the cold in. I didn't want to buy a specialized tumbler that only fits a specific sized bottle or can, so a new lid that accepts and supports various sizes of cans and bottles was born. "The Insert" is an inexpensive accessory for your existing 20oz. tumblers.
